Help with statistics using SAS, other than installation issues, is available from Consulting for Statistics, Computing & Analytics Research (CSCAR) by calling 764-STAT (73) or sending an email to for Statistics, Computing & Analytics Research (CSCAR) provides free statistical consulting to all U-M faculty, staff, and graduate students with the design, planning, analysis, and presentation of research studies.ĬSCAR also presents workshops on statistical methods, statistical software, qualitative data analysis and geographic information systems. Students can purchase licenses for their personally owned machines through the Tech Shop. SAS Linux Desktop and SAS Windows desktop licenses are available through the ITS Software Store for non-ITAM consortium members. UmichITAM faculty, staff, and students may receive this software at no cost on their university machines by contacting their local unit IT. SAS e-Learning is free for university faculty, staff, and students. Administrative Use is not licensed at this time.
